If you are the parent/guardian of a homeschool student and would like for your child to participate in either the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) for grades 3-8 or the SAT School day for grade 11, please complete the registration form.

Mingo County Universal Pre K is a quality early childhood program offered through a collaboration between Mingo County Schools and Coalfield CAP Head Start.
Mingo County has several opportunities for children ages 3-4 to participate in an early childhood development program. If you have a child that will be three (3) or four (4) years old before July 1st, and you are interested in a full-time, four-day preschool program, click this link.

Students who did not attend Head Start/PK, and who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2021, need to pre-register for Kindergarten. If you have a child that will be five (5) years old before July 1, 2021, please complete this form.

Mingo County Schools is collaborating and working with the Mingo County Health Department, the West Virginia Department of Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Although there have been no confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our area or in West Virginia, we want to provide information about how Mingo County Schools is monitoring this issue.
