  • April 7, 2020 Social Studies Lesson: Earlier this year, we discussed “SUPPLY AND DEMAND”. Wow! Who knew we would soon have a great example of items in supply and demand. During this historical event, write a detailed paragraph explaining one item that has been in a high demand but a low supply since the pandemic (Covid19) began. Remember!! A detailed paragraph means that you should, to the best you can, include the who, what, when, where, why, and how of the situation.

  • Today’s Reading Lesson (April 6, 2020) : Choose one text structure that we have learned this year and write a paragraph on a topic of your choice. Remember the text structures are:

    • Sequence

    • Compare/contrast

    • Problem/solution

    • Description

    • Cause and effect

    Remember to use the key words in order for the reader to determine how your passage is organized. You can always log into Blackboard to watch a video on text structure or view an anchor chart.
