Tug Valley High School would like to congratulate our very own Kendra Estepp for attaining a position in the West Virginia All-State Band! 

Some words from Mr. Alan Riffle: "On December 7th, 2018, Steve Sartin and Kendra Estepp from Tug Valley High School auditioned in Charleston for the West Virginia All-State Band along with hundreds of the state’s finest high-school musicians. Both musicians represented us exceedingly well through a very challenging audition process, which utilizes undergraduate-level musical literature.  With that in mind, would like to extend a very special congratulation to Kendra Estepp for placing 18th out of 74 clarinetists and, thus, becoming a member of the 2019 West Virginia All-State Band! Membership in this ensemble signifies the peak of musical achievement for high school student musicians in the state of West Virginia and many go on to become professionals in the field."
